While unfortunately, with the current state of our political landscape, its become something of a polarizing value and moral system, the way our government currently stands makes for a pretty dang quick, easy, and incredibly telling way of sizing up another person.
Whether for a date, potential friend, a possible new hire, even in considering the character of one’s family members, ask this question to figure out fast, what kind of a person they truly are at heart.
Any positive feelings towards Trump?
Run for the f*cking hills.
Sorry, but it really is that simple.
Anyone who approves, in any semblance of a degree of Donald Trump (at this point in the game) is someone who endorses rape, who supports homophobia, bigotry, and white supremacy.
They are a person who believes that old, conservative, republican, white men should be allowed to dictate how and what women do with their own bodies.
They are someone who supports cruelty and violence.
They do not support universal health care for all.
And they do not wish for a society in which its citizens help and support each other.
This is the type of person a Trump supporter is. End of story. Full stop.
Who we approve of, value, think highly of, aspire toward, and consider to be high-quality people? This tells onlookers all about us.
Thus, if someone has anything good to say about Trump, this means that there are only bad things to say about them.
It’s generally not a good thing to judge others quickly. Also, most people are filled with nuance. We all have both good and bad aspects of our personas. Each of us has numerous strengths and weaknesses.
And yet, there are some things that tell us, right off the bat, cutting right to the core of things, whether or not someone is of good character.
