To this instead: A person who believes in their own value will attract others who believe in it too.

The initial quote essentially says that Esther was not a person of value, because she didn’t believe in her own value. But the rest of the article didn’t seem to imply that, given the ending, where the author said they told Esther to stop accepting bad treatment because she deserves me.

Thus, the quote “a person of value attracts someone who values them” does not fit.

A person who believes in their own value will then attract others who believe in it too. That is the right quote.
