This is a great article, Jessica. Thank you. I literally just had a conversation on this very topic with my friend, Gayle (who is a few decades older than me). She has been married for around 40 years, and is happy in her marriage. I asked if she has ever had doubts? If she ever considered breaking up with her husband? She said absolutely, and more then once. And they have a wonderful relationship. Just goes to prove the premise of your article :-). Even the best love can have moments of significant doubt, and this is not necessarily evidence that this love is flawed or "wrong."
