Why is Everyone’s Butt Hanging Out?

How this, and several other current behaviors of our culture, are harmful to both men and women.

Why now, as a collective culture, are women’s butts perpetually hanging out of their shorts?

Why have we adopted the belief that the offering up of our bodies (via both dress and hookup culture) with little to no discretion, is a symbol of “freedom” or “empowerment” when in reality, it serves at being much the opposite.

And why do we equate lending others the idea that being easy means we are “sexy”, “free-spirited”, or “confident,” when in actuality, it proves largely the reverse.

So what is this really about? This move towards ever skimpier dress on women, while men’s style of dress remains largely the same (their bodies covered).

It’s about women appeasing, appealing to, and catering to the sexual pleasures of men.

It’s women remaining firmly sequestered in the cultural morals that our worth is based largely on our appearances and what we have to offer men sexually and visually.
